Fews is a leading supplier of temporary structures for every kind of event and have proudly earned a strong reputation for service and quality, providing turnkey solutions to a wide range of clientele, with sustainability at the heart of their operations and logistics for many years.
Fews Marquees has recently invested in a renewable energy powered cleaning machine to improve their environmental impacts around cleaning their reusable PVC marquees. Powered by solar and biomass, this washing machine ensures they provide the highest-quality product with minimum environmental impact. Their clients benefit through improved product durability, with less water used for cleaning and shorter turnaround times even during peak periods.
Developed in conjunction with Straight Eight Engineering, this is the only continual washing and drying machine currently available.
They clean a huge amount of PVC throughout the year and this innovation helps them reduce energy consumption significantly, volume of cleaning materials, and of water. With cleaning speeds of 4-6 metres per minute, this machine is capable of cleaning more PVC in a day than anything else on the market.
The energy for Fews Midlands-based facility is already sustainably produced through Biomass boilers, but “The Sustainable Green Cleaning Machine” is another significant step towards their goal of Net Zero.
