Vision: 2025’s Sustainable Events Summit (SES) will return to the Showman’s Show for the 9th edition, on Wednesday 23rd October 2024.
2024 is a pivotal year for the Sustainable Events Summit, as work begins on establishing benchmarks, shaping the sector strategy 2030.
Each year the summit hosts the Green Supplier & Innovation award LIVE! A favourite summit session, which recognises Showman’s Show exhibitors who demonstrate innovative sustainability initiatives. In the session, the three shortlisted suppliers present innovations to help events reduce environmental impacts from the supply chain in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style presentation to a panel of sustainability champions and experts, along with approximately 60 of the UK’s leading festival and event organisers. Judges and delegates then cast their votes to decide the winner.
The Green Supplier and Innovation Award is open to every exhibitor at the Showman’s Show and is as much about companies who are implementing best sustainability practice, as it is about individual products and services.
