GMC Events was established in in 2005 to supply the industry with a detailed site design and event planning service, using best practice, sustainable initiatives and cost-effective solutions to guarantee safe and successful events.
GMC Events has worked on a diverse range of projects, from the early days running ground breaking ski and snowboard events, to more recently designing and delivering of world leading music festivals such as Boomtown Fair (Winchester), MBL Beast (Saudi Arabia) and Barclaycard British Summertime, (Hyde Park).
Our MD, Graham MacVoy, has been at innovating the way festivals are delivered for over 10 years, from being one of the first companies to engage with compost toilets and biofuel to more recently working on integrating large scale batteries into events.
Graham is also a trustee at Ecolibrium (a charity aiming to work across the festival industry to raise awareness, reduce impacts, and balance 10 million ‘fossil-fuel’ travel miles with investments into clean renewable energy within 5 years) and involved with the Green Deal Circular festivals working group which is a pan European think tank focused on reducing europeans environmental impact.
